Jodi Hayes Ceramics - Unique Handmade Creations
The Process
Each piece of ceramic, by Sussex artist, Jodi Hayes, is heavily inspired by the Sussex landscape and built by hand to incorporate grasses, seed-heads and various other treasures foraged from land and shore.
After an initial bisque firing, each piece is then glazed and fired again to reveal the illusion of star dusted skies, ocean depths and paths well trodden within the atmospheric colours that emerge from the kiln.
No two pieces are ever the same and these unique vessels can stand alone as a work of art, or, as the majority are food safe, can be used to bring beauty to the everyday.
